Inspired by the safari vehicles of southern Africa, our vehicles are constructed and equipped for the Arizona desert and the sky islands so you can explore more and prepare less. Choose your adventure, whether it's exploring the backcountry, unforgettable desert camping, hiking the sky islands or canyons, fishing the desert lakes or in the tribal areas, exploring ancient cliff dwellings, birdwatching or mountain biking, we'll be there to help you plan every step of the way.

This was an amazing trip! We somehow thought camping in Utah in the winter was a good idea (it’s way colder than you’d think) but this Jeep got us through without a scratch! All around we hit Flagstaff, Horseshoe Bend, Zion, Goblin Valley and Arches. Highly recommend

ADVENTURE WITH US
Our 4x4 campers are designed from the ground up for the desert landscape. You can go places few have seen and still be in comfort.
Leave your camping gear at home. We've been there, done that, so all the essentials come with our vehicles.
A wet night or a broken down vehicle can ruin a trip. We outfit our vehicles to stay comfortable in the wild and meticulously maintain them to avoid breakdowns. Also for your safety, a satellite communications device is included.
We had an amazing adventure in this jeep! It was well stocked and had everything you could need for an off the beaten path camping adventure. We only needed food and beers and we were set! We felt it was only missing one thing, a deck of cards (which we bought and left in the jeep for the next lucky people who take this beast out!) We loved the kitchen build and ease of having a full camp set up in 5 minutes, and being able to go play in the mountains, the playa and the desert. It handles better on dirt roads then the interstate. If you are looking for a rugged outdoor adventure, this is the rig for you. We will be talking about this trip for a long time and are already dreaming of getting something like this for ourselves.

This was an amazing vehicle/unit to rent! Very easy to set up and take-down: 10 minutes maximum and we had no prior experience (other than the tutorial by the host). The sleeping quarters were comfortable. The set-up allowed us to camp in a sweet spot: out of the way, private with great views from the rooftop sleeping quarters. The cooking facilities worked well (no problems with the grill burners going out, and it was really windy). The host put a lot of mindfulness and attended to the details of this sweet lil ride. We plan to rent this package again! The host was very easy to communicate with, responded quickly and overall was very helpful (and patient with my posing shenanigans during walk through:)

WHY USE A 4×4 CAMPER WHEN TRAVELING IN ARIZONA?

A 4x4 Camper is better suited for dirt and gravel forest service roads and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land.

It's possible to boon-dock (dispersed camp) on federal and state lands.
-
You can access camp spots that regular vehicles can't.
-
Higher ground clearance allows for better views.

Roof top tent keeps you safely off the ground at night.

A taller vehicle will have a better awning for that crucial shade in the desert.
We rented this vehicle to access to the east end of Aravaipa canyon the month of November. It was great for accessing Turkey Creek Trail camping ground area. Roof top tent was so nice and felt extra safe. The use of the four wheel drive really made the trip - driving through the rocks without worrying about our vehicles capability. Everything you need is included - even off grid communication for worst case scenarios. You will feel capable in your adventure with this rental! Thank you!

This was awesome! We go tent camping a lot, but wanted to check out some more isolated areas around Tucson. Glad we found this. Came with everything we needed for the weekend. Jeep drove great, everything worked well, had no issues. The host was responsive and flexible when scheduling pick-up and drop-off times. Highly recommend!
